New colors

I'm sure most of you have heard of the new colors? Now, normally I abhor all those guidelines and rules, but when it's spring, and it feels like winter, they're actually very comforting, at least to me.
Well, these are the new colors, and how to incorporate them into your wardrobe. (caution: only for those wanting to look incredibly good, do not wear these colors if they do not look good on you)
This is a super fun clor and will brighten your mood instantly. The gray, military inspired sweater is super trendy, je l'aime. Pink and orange can be too much when paired next to each other but this soft pink works well. Also, if your cold add floral tights (like the ones above) and a white or ivory hat.

Actually, this is just a true yellow and it's easier to wear then one might think. The trick is in finding a yellow that suits you. You either have warm coloring or cool. For cool coloring go with a brighter, or truer yellow, for warm coloring try one that has a little orange or red in it. I like to let yellow take center stage but if you're still worried about it try yellow on accessories. (If it's too cold for shorts, pants will work as well as they're cropped so you can see the shoe)

Turquoise is a very easy color to pull off. If you're not comfortable with the cropped top you could out a tank underneath, or if it's cold, a navy cardigan would look great.
The next 3 colors will be in the next post, sorry to keep you waiting.

Happy April Fools day and Passover(Yes, it's technically over but still)

Sorry for being M.I.A.

I was just so busy enjoying SPRING BREAK!
Anyway, have I ever shared my love obsession of delicate flower rings? There are millions on etsy that make me drool. This one from Fleurbleue has lovely details around the band that echo the intricacy of the lovely flower. This one lacks the the intricacy on the band but the color is to die for. Somewhere between peach and pink, totally in this spring.(from Linkeldesign's shop)

This ring from lizhutnick has multiple flowers which in theory isn't that col. But how she did it, it has an interesting appearance.

There are many many more but these are the types I love most.

This is going to be a regular post, bringing things (Sorry English teachers allover the world) I love. Stuff I love Saturday anyone?

Dolls I did it!

I found a way to eliminate my frizz. I didn't sell my soul, and it's easy to do at home. Of course, You have to find time in your busy day, at least forty minutes.
First you wash your hair, but don't wash out the conditioner. What I did was put on a shower cap, get out of the shower and blow dry(rest, blow dry), but you could just stay in the shower with the cap on and let steam do all the work. After I washed out conditioner, I made two ponytails, one on top and one on bottom. I did this because the area that gets frizziest on me is the first layer of hair. Then I put shime serum on the bottom poyntail, and John Frieda frizz ease on the top and braided both separately. I let them dry for abou ten twenty minutes and then unbraided them, and slathered then in hairspray. If you want your hair to be very light , or to have looser curls, don't use hairspray, I did because without it my hair gets huge and makes my cheeks look big. Et voila! Minimal frizz (as it dried, the top layer of my hair became frizzy, but this could be because it's semi-straight).
On a totally unrelated not, I got three magazines and am having tons of fun! Goodbye!

Oscars part 2: Who I didn't like

You know I love Diane Kruger, but the Chanel didn't work. It was nothing in particular, maybe I was just expecting something better.

I was disappointed with Demi Moore, the color of her Atelier Versace wasn't right for her skin and the bodice wasn't very flattering, though I loved the ruffles.

I was disappointed With SJP, The back of her Chanel Haute Couture was interesting but I didn't like how little shape there was to this dress.

Tina Fey's Michael Kors did not impress me. It was her typical black, and though it looked okay on stage, on the red carpet it just wasn't right.

I hated Faith Hill's dress. It had all the right elements but the way they were put together...

Miley Cyrus was the only other one who I particularly didn't like.

Just request stars if you want my input, and feel free to disagree with me, I know some people who LOVED SJP's dress.

Oscars Part 1: Who I liked

I'm not going to assault you with my comments this time, it'll be short and to the point(mostly).First, who I liked.

Next, Kristen Stewart, I saw her smiling a lot which I loved, but I couldn't find a good picture of both her dress and smile. C'est La Vie. I love how feminine this Monique Lhuiller is while the color was pretty serious. Click on the image for a Better look at the color.

Zoe Saldana was even better than I expected. The Givenchy Haute Couture was unexpected and exciting. There were many elements and colors but they worked without being too much. Please click on the image because it is truly stunning.

Vera Farmiga a devotee of neutrals, wore the most beautiful Red or pink, I couldn't tell. The ruffling on her Marchesa was stunning and she might have been my favorite of the night.

The color of Gabourey Sidibe's dress was perfect. Marchesa was a great choice.

There were more, but these are some of my faves, check out Amanda Seyfried, Carey Mulligan and Sandra Bullock for more of my loves.

Dear Maybelline,

I've had a bumpy relationship with you. Your products always looked so good, but I was putt off by the prices. Then I tried you mascara, and it was love. I was faithful and always turned to you when I wanted to make an impact, but I heard bad reviews of you. Why should I buy you when Covergirl has better reviews, I thought. I thought wrong, sure Covergirl is nice, but why settle? You won me back with your Shinesensational glosses. They're slightly shimmery, have great color, and smell incredible. I have you in Cherry Kiss and Berry Bella, and I want more. Through skepticism and doubt, you kept me coming back, so Thank You and good job!
Sincerely Une belle fille
