Comfort

Today is a nice day, I know because i was forced to leave the house before 12. I wanted to wear something easy (I wasn't planning to stay out for long), so I threw on a striped Urban dress and Corso Como wingtips. I was immediately told to change shoes by my brother. I'm aware that wingtips don't really do anything for my legs, but I don't care this morning. It's so freeing to put on something not necessarily sexy but supremely comfortable. I'm not saying to forgo fashion and style in favor of sweats, I frequently choose high heels over comfort. I am saying that every once in a while, wear something comfy and out of style.

Age

I don't know how many of you watched the Emmys, but Ariel Winter's dress was a hotly debated topic. She wore a baby pink, floral lace halter dress, with cleavage. The debate is over, of course her cleavage. Being thirteen, many thought Ariel's dress showed an inappropriate amount of chest. While her dress was very grown up, I think it was appropriate for her. ahveing been thirteen not too long ago, I know what it's like to be at that point in life. You're exposed to so much in the world, but your too young to be allowed to experience any of it. Dressing the part of a grown up can feel like you're bridging the gap. Also, if any of you have been to a Bar/bat Mitzvah within the last few years, you should know her dress is downright conservative compared to the skin-tight, mini dresses girls now wear.
I haven't posted in almost a year. Life got busy the way it does, even though that's no excuse.
I'm gonna try to post in a more regular fashion, but I'm not perfect, so here goes.
