Sorry for the somewhat sporadic posting. Lame excuse, but in my effort to procrastinate from schoolwork, I've been putting off everything. I went shopping Friday night with my friend which was fun. Though they're between seasons, they still have lovely things. My favorites were their florals and coats. I tried on many dress but only bought one black and green-purple-white floral dress. It's very cute and even though it's a very spring-y dress I'm looking forward to wearing it soon. I also bought a pair of red platform heels from payless. Last night I went to a party and watched Snl which was AMAZING! The MacGruebers were especially good, "Pass me the pen" "Which one?" "The African American one" Too Funny.
Spring Collections are coming out and I am very excited because spring is my favorite time of year. I am so over Winter by now. Romanticism is in for spring how much fun is that! Ruffles and layers of sheer are easily dressed, up down and made tough by a doc martins and a blazer.

You know that feeling after hours in four inch heels? Solved with CitySlips! Basically, they're flats that conveniently fit into all bags but you're tiniest clutch. I heard about them on several blogs and want to try them out even if they won't give me enough support.
Winona of Daddy Likey is having the most fabulous give away and I just might spontaneously combust while waiting to see if I've won any of the prizes!
I have a major in-class history essay tomorrow and the unsatisfactory results on my last essay make so nervous! Sigh, Life (said while shaking fist and looking out the window).

School's been really busy, they're already loading on the homework. Because it's been very busy I've been trying to relax whenever I can. Here are my fave five ways to relax

1. Listening to music. It's so soothing and all you need to do is sit back and litsen
2. Reading. I am currently rereading but I love to read and it's how I unwind at night
3. Sudoku! I am in love with this game and am currently winning the challenge at school!

1st day of school

It's been a nice day. School was iffy. It was fun to see my friends but homework. Today we tried out for teams and I tried out for soccer. It was hot and longer than gym in the past so I am beat. Plus I walked home. As I was walking home with my friend I saw a Mr. softies truck. I had wanted to walk my usual way so I could get Starbucks but she didn't want to so when I saw the truck I conceded. I didn't feel like Ice cream so I bought a milkshake. It was overpriced, full of calories and not that good so I wasn't feeling especially good when I got home. I come home, my new keys have trouble opening the lock and the dogs leash is broken. At least I got a new skirt in the mail.

Ahh

Today was orientation which meant 10 minute classes and minimum homework. It was filled with information and gossiping but most of all, new stuff. New people, teachers, lockers. It was fun to talk and I enjoyed it. After, we bought school supplies (staples is super packed) and I bought MarieClaire. It's great so far and the cover models are faves of mine.
Lately I've realized how many times I say like and umm. My friend said I sound like a valley girl and my mom is going crazy. It's a good thing I edit the blog.

Hope you guys all had a good day at school! I have orientation tomorrow but I get homework so it's sorta like a normal day. I spent a good 2 hours choosing an outfit (two to choose from). I checked the weather after and found it says cold and rainy which sucks, It's barely fall!
I'm a gonna go get a pumpkin spice latte, Bye.

I Baked!

I finally baked with gluten free flour! I might have forgotten to say but I'm going gluten free for two months starting the 23 of last month. It was hard at first but it's getting easier.
Most people start school tomorrow or the day after but I will be blissfully enjoying home. I have orientation Thursday and start school a week from today. An advantage of my school is how early we end and how late we start. I still have to get school supplies but after that I can ignore it. Some people view school as torture and some love it, I've never has strong feelings either way but it gets repetitive after a bit. My brother on the hand loathes school.
I've been watching a lot of YouTube makeup tutorials and after watching Blair aka Juicystar07's room tour I finally understood Rachel Zoe's term. While watching I repeatedly thought to myself, "I die". Seriously, I didn't get the term till then. After watching these makeup tutorials I find myself needing more makeup so I will be making a list of makeup to buy before school. Last year I had an hour to get ready and never had time to put any thought into my makeup so this year I will plan my outfit the night before so I will have time to plan. I'm proud of myself for making a school resolution I can keep because I usually make good ones that are relatively unachievable for me (another one is to add a piece of jewelery to each outfit). But that's still a week away.

School

I know many of you out there have school in a week. I'm lucky, I start on the fourteenth but despite that, the prospect of starting school is daunting. Of course, there are good things about the school year starting. Weighing out the pros and cons I get:

Pros

1. Cooler weather( I like it more than unbearable heat).
2. Seeing my friends.
3. I love summer but after weeks of doing nothing I appreciate a little order.
4. Parties.

Cons

1. Waking up early.
2. Homework
3. Crazy teachers.
4. shorter days

I'm sure there's more I'm not thinking of but It's still Summer and I'm letting my brain relax. Maybe I'm letting my spelling and grammar slip too much but that's for my English teacher to fix (I edit this blog a lot, trust me).

For now I'm going to be content with spending days in shorts outside or on the computer.

Not much to say

Today was another blissfully relaxing days I've been enjoying so much of. A guy came over so now both the internet and tv are working. I'm reading a new book and fast. When I was younger I read several books at a time until the late hours (mostly on weeknights) and with my penchant for rereading books (some I've read 20 times) I don't read many new books that I'm crazy about.
Today I was so surprised to see fallen leaves all over my block. They didn't wait to change color they just fell. It's scary that fall is closing in. I'm going school shopping tomorrow which only makes it worse. I am excited but not totally happy.

So sorry I've been neglecting you poor blog.

I haven't been terribly busy but the internet has been down, either slow or not working at all. To get on with it, I just saw Julie and Julia. It was incredible, I heard the Julie parts weren't as good as the Julia parts but I thought it was good all around. It made me want to bake. I've decided to go gluten free again ( I did it once in fourth grade to decrease my eczema) for two months. Gluten is in bread and most starch products so baking could be a problem. I've heard there's gluten free flour so maybe I'll be fine. School is approaching and I still need a few things. I start later then other schools but I still dread it (though not as much as my brother). I must go, Au revior!

No school!

Sorry I couldn't post yesterday, I was too busy enjoying NO SCHOOL! There was more flu or swine flu or something but anyway school is closed this week. So we have 3 half days with no classes and then summer next week. Oh, and i found the perfect outfit for field day! You may ask what the hell that is. It is a day filled with sporting contests where we compete against half the school. Each team has a color from the school, I am on yellow (the other's blue) and have never been able to find a totally yellow outfit. Now I have yellow sofi shorts, a yellow tank and a slouchy yellow shirt to go over that. Although they said no socializing so we don't get sick (I already got sick) I went out with friends to day and have a grade party Friday. We went to see Up and it wasn't great but it was cute. My fav character was Doug("I was hiding under the porch because I love you")! Than we went to my friends house to watch Twilight while eating pizza and slushies. right now I'm listening to Maroon 5 and must catch up on some stuff. Bye!

Sick

Today 30 people were sick. It's crazy thy didn't let us leave. throughout the day I got killer headaches and felt slightly woozy. I went to the nurse twice and didn't get out. When i came home the fever flared and I've been lying in my moms bead watching Transformers for like 3 hours. Its a good movie but after a while I couldn't watch. Fortunately I'm not allowed to go to school tomorrow and can only go Thursday if I have a 24 hour period fever-free. That all means my math test is postponed! Though I'm not sure its worth it feeling like this.

Normal blah

Today they surprised with the mile(its actually more than a mile cause they add each year). It was nice weather but sorta dumb because nobody brought a water bottle. I did my best 8:59! The normal 3 or 4 people felt sick in my class. I'm pretty satisfied with my post school outfit. I'm wearing a fuchsia sweater over a white tank with wide leg jeans and my new heels. Also a scarf worn the way I saw in a magazine. I saw scarves worn this way in different magazines and on the runway so I tried it out and loved it! All you do is fold (I call it triangulate;) a square scarf diagonally and tie to ends around your neck. Make sure it's drapey and not too high or it will look odd. My bro started a blog today! Sry about the lack of posts. Got tons to tell.

First, a dress I ordered from eBay came and its just gorgeous! I'm in love with it but I'm going to save it for some bar/bat mitzvas. also on the matter of apparel, I finally bought a new pair of patent black flats (mine were falling apart). Truly versatile, easily casual or dressy, plus the shine is irresistible. second, I figured the total amount biked over the weekend was 14 miles! Unfortunately I have some bruises (I'm clumsy, anything that can bruise I have probably been bruised by). Thirdly, I bought a book of how of how to form good excuses. Maybe I'll share some. We had a field trip today to NBC studios. it was fun and we got to see where snl was filmed but later it felt like a very fun waste. In gym we started playing lacrosse games small enough where I had to play. Ugh you should not be near me while I twirl a lacrosse stick. In religion I have a paper where I have to waste so much paper but my teacher doesn't think its wasteful so he wont change it. It's like two sentences per page.
