Dolls I did it!

I found a way to eliminate my frizz. I didn't sell my soul, and it's easy to do at home. Of course, You have to find time in your busy day, at least forty minutes.
First you wash your hair, but don't wash out the conditioner. What I did was put on a shower cap, get out of the shower and blow dry(rest, blow dry), but you could just stay in the shower with the cap on and let steam do all the work. After I washed out conditioner, I made two ponytails, one on top and one on bottom. I did this because the area that gets frizziest on me is the first layer of hair. Then I put shime serum on the bottom poyntail, and John Frieda frizz ease on the top and braided both separately. I let them dry for abou ten twenty minutes and then unbraided them, and slathered then in hairspray. If you want your hair to be very light , or to have looser curls, don't use hairspray, I did because without it my hair gets huge and makes my cheeks look big. Et voila! Minimal frizz (as it dried, the top layer of my hair became frizzy, but this could be because it's semi-straight).
On a totally unrelated not, I got three magazines and am having tons of fun! Goodbye!

Today I felt like an idiot

It was fifty degrees out and I paid no attention to any past experiences and went out in a mini and two small sweaters. It's ridiculous that I have no sense of how I'll feel when the weather is between sixty and forty. I just can't imagine how cold it will feel until I feel it.
I know today's not one of the days I promised to post but I'm making up for the days I missed.
Since It's troubled me for a while I thought I tackle all the mystery about dress codes for parties.
For casual, you can probably wear jeans but make sure you know what type of person is hosting the party. Others idea of casual could differ with yours. Always keep one peice special though. A top like this could easily be dressed up or down. A pencil skirt or jeans are easy choices.
Festive, club and cocktail wear are more dressed up and you can be very fun and outgoing with what you wear (unless of course the host is very conservative). Mini's are also appropriate. I would go with a dress but you could easily wear a skirt. If the event is specified as cocktail I would go with something a bit longer like this:
This one looks better on and the seaming is beautiful.
For black tie optional go for longer dresses in special fabrics and not tons of skin. this one comes in tons of colors and the cut is perfect.
Black tie should be something very special.

If you wear vintage you can be sure no one else will be wearing what you are. You can be unique and very pretty in such a dress and if you know where to look they can be cheaper than current dresses. This one is so special I feel lucky just looking at it.

Layering

I've watched tv all day and then I got ice cream (definitely try oatmeal cookie chunk).
Just like many of you, I have mixed feelings about Fall. I love the season and the holidays but going back to school is eh. I already know what I'm being for Halloween and can't wait to buy candy corn. I know many people prefer Summer to any other season but I love Spring and Fall best. They're unpredictable in terms of weather, but I think that makes it all the more fun to get dressed in the morning because you have to layer.
Layering is an everyday thing for many people because it makes life easier. You can be prepared for any weather that might happen. If you layer a few sweaters over a tank because it's cold when you wake up, you can just take a few off if it becomes hotter. Layering also allows you to add personality to boring outfits.
Layer a few necklaces and a scarf over a t-shirt and jeans and you get an outfit that's comfy and shows off your personality. Adding a sweater and belting it can show off your shape.
Adding a belt can often make an outfit. I've heard many people ask about belts and they're pretty uncomplicated if you know two things. Skinny belts look best with thin layers and thicker belts look best with baggy layers. Of course these rules are debatable and sometimes a thicker belt will look nice with thin layers, but when you are picking out a belt it helps if you can narrow down your choices through these rules.
Many magazines and other bloggers have talked about layering because it is fairly common, so I hope you can read what I've written and compare it to other sources.
Have fun! Mwah Mwah!!!!!!!

Just thought

As I'm waiting for my computer to load I'd share how I get my hair to do different things after I wash it. I always use four products almost immediately after I'm done with my shower. Two hairsprays, leave-in conditioner and an anti-frizz and shine serum. For a more in control style I use more hairspray 10 minutes later. Bi!

Normal blah

Today they surprised with the mile(its actually more than a mile cause they add each year). It was nice weather but sorta dumb because nobody brought a water bottle. I did my best 8:59! The normal 3 or 4 people felt sick in my class. I'm pretty satisfied with my post school outfit. I'm wearing a fuchsia sweater over a white tank with wide leg jeans and my new heels. Also a scarf worn the way I saw in a magazine. I saw scarves worn this way in different magazines and on the runway so I tried it out and loved it! All you do is fold (I call it triangulate;) a square scarf diagonally and tie to ends around your neck. Make sure it's drapey and not too high or it will look odd. My bro started a blog today! It's about comics, Check here!
