So sorry my lovelies!

I've been busy lately and haven't told of my last few days! For fathers day I went to my step dads parents house in the blouse my babysitter got me. C'est tres fun! Yesterday I went for lunch and birthday shopping with my aunt. We went to city bakery which was absolutely wonderful and then got her beautiful puppy so he could shop with us. At the bakery we discovered I should lay off the chocolate because of a rash. We went to Steve Madden and Oh My god you must check out the sale! Buy one get one 90% off! I payed for a pair of flats and she payed for some sandals (for me). We went to Zara which had loads of awesome clothes! I bought two dresses which I am in love with.
Sorry about my lack of fashion in movies posts. I don't think they'll start up again because this is a busy week. "I" haven't started packing yet so my ma's gonna take a day of this week to start. I have started counting my clothes. So far, 61 tops and 13 dresses. Camp is in 5 days and I cannot wait though I will miss all of you darling readers.
At the moment I am incredibly upset at myself. Though I haven't looked yet I can't find my camera charger. Really if I can't find it soon I will kill myself.

I watched What a Way to Go recently and was astonished by not only the wonderful storyline but the incredible costumes. Be they long or short the costumes were always entertaining. I loved watching her hair transform also. Curly with the first husband, straight and pinned with the second (my fav), all types of different with the third, short and sometimes pink with the fourth and curly again with the last. You've got to see this movie if only for the costumes. Louisa Foster you have the coolest style known to man!

You know I love Anne Hathaway and I love old fashion so it shouldn't come as a surprise I love Ella Enchanted. I always love watching her sing and cringe when she tries not to kill the prince. Ella Enchanted was one of her earlier movies and is just a pleasant movie to watch. The outfit above is lovely. The neckline often looks odd but with that silhouette it's perfect. The shimmery fabric is perfect for the fairy tale movie. I almost like it better after she's thrown in the dungeon and her hair is messed up though.
She spends most of the time in the outfit left. I've always wanted a cloak though I would only be able to wear it around the house and o Halloween. I'm not crazy about the belt but you can't deny it goes great with her outfit. The mostly blue outfit complements her perfectly.

If you've ever seen Bye Bye Birdie you know about the terrific songs and dance numbers. The thing that stands out to me though is the fabulous style. Ann-Margret as Kim MacAfee in particular. The beautiful and prim dresses during the day and the wild cigarette pants for night. As an avid fan of the fifties style each time I see this movie I wish I had each of her dresses and the pink outfit makes me drool! My fave song of the movie is with Anne-Margret. How lovely to be a women completely captures what I love about the style of this movie. In it she trades her gorgeous skirt and top for a slouchy sweater and jeans. Her ability to look stunning in the first outfit and still awesome in the second is awesome. Check out the vid here!Your style rocks Kim MacAfee!

Fashionable women in...

The lovely Sherin and Leia of hifashion have lately been doing interesting posts on fashionable women in politics. I will do something slightly more in my range. Fashionable women in movies! For the first I'll do Margot Tenenbaum. I love her edgy look. Her blunt haircut and black liner are a uniquely awesome look. I especially love her fur coat. It's very close to her coloring so it's texture stands out. Most of the clothes she wears are close to her coloring so her barrette and eyeliner really stand out. How many of us could rock a barrette in our hair and heavy black liner like she does! I love your style Margot Tenenbaum!
