you have no idea how hard it is to pack only using two suitcaases and 2-4 carry-ons.

Everybody's been gettin on each others nerves and it's driving me crazy! Maybe we shouldn't have decided to pack two people for a seven week trip one day. It's hectic and messy in the house but it's quieted down a bit. I am going to take a nice bath with some new stuff that smells nice and a magazine before I pack some more. I thought we were done but I guess there's more. Sigh, bye!

What I'm lovin before camp.

I'm going to spill what I'm lovin lately as I can't get anything till, like August.

• Firstly, I love that I made the cheesecake(1 more hour and we can eat it) but on to clothes and stuff.
• I'm lovin bold prints for dresses, they look awesome! You can show so much personality by the pattern and cut. Plus, you'll stand out!
• Florals are another thing I can't get enough of. Floral jewelery, dresses, boots, and more jewelery.

• Cool tees with look at me sayings are sooo supposed to be mine so if you have one it's technically mine.

• Unconventional denim is also an awesome. Unexpected but goes with many things.

• Lastly, polka polka dots and lace are sweet and looking at the makes my day!

Mmmmm, Lovely

Woke up and got dressed at 9 today. Hallelujah! I immediately went to the hairdresser to get my hair done. Nobody else was there(duh, it's a rainy Friday morning) so it was nice and quiet. The rollers weren't as bad as usual. It looks beautiful and is so long. Unfortunately the humidity when I walked home frizzed the ends of my hair. I guess I'll just hot iron the ends soon.
Later this afternoon I'm going to make chocolate cheesecake. I am so excited but I'm tempted to chicken out cuz I'm not totally confident with making cheesecake. Can wait to make it!

work day!

Today is one of the main packing days. Organizing, throwing out, counting and setting clothes out to pack Saturday. Am on a break at the moment because even she doesn't like it. Not looking forward to the organizing but it must be done.

Lots of different stuff

I had the worst night of sleep last night! My brother was being annoying so I slept on the couch with my dog. Whatev, at least the pins in my hair held(my hair still looks nice).
After a refreshing shower and my hair was soft and it's curls loose and distinctive, I was posed with the decision to put on pj's or not. I decided to put on one of my new dresses that I wore last night while watching tv late at night. It has a very light fabric and a green and purple liberty print. Right now I am sooo in love with it. So in love that I will not take off the tags till I wear it to camp Sunday.
I've decided to straighten my hair Friday so all my camp peeps can bask in the glory of my long shiny straight hair. Thank goodness I've forgotten the torture of last time or else I wouldn't be able to go. The heat really is excruciating so my friends had better appreciate it.;) The salon really is the only way to go with curly and frizzy hair like mine.
I had an appliance put in my mouth called a Nance last year. I don't know what it was doing but it was on the roof of my mouth and I grew accustomed to it. Well yesterday I went to the orthodentist and they took it out. It's a bit raw and sorta weird but I'm happy because I'm now a few steps closer to perfect teeth.
I redid my nails because with my new shoes my nails looked horrifying and decided to try out the rhinestones my friend gave me. Two of them fell off on a hand so I fixed the other hand and they're nice. They lasted through the night which is cool.
Friday, along with my hair I've decided to finally make the chocolate cheesecake I've been wanting to make. It takes a few hours of waiting but it sounds sooo good!

So sorry my lovelies!

I've been busy lately and haven't told of my last few days! For fathers day I went to my step dads parents house in the blouse my babysitter got me. C'est tres fun! Yesterday I went for lunch and birthday shopping with my aunt. We went to city bakery which was absolutely wonderful and then got her beautiful puppy so he could shop with us. At the bakery we discovered I should lay off the chocolate because of a rash. We went to Steve Madden and Oh My god you must check out the sale! Buy one get one 90% off! I payed for a pair of flats and she payed for some sandals (for me). We went to Zara which had loads of awesome clothes! I bought two dresses which I am in love with.
Sorry about my lack of fashion in movies posts. I don't think they'll start up again because this is a busy week. "I" haven't started packing yet so my ma's gonna take a day of this week to start. I have started counting my clothes. So far, 61 tops and 13 dresses. Camp is in 5 days and I cannot wait though I will miss all of you darling readers.
At the moment I am incredibly upset at myself. Though I haven't looked yet I can't find my camera charger. Really if I can't find it soon I will kill myself.

Ahhh Summer!

Yesterday was one of the most unproductive days I've ever had. If only my English teacher could hear my grammar now. I did all my morning stuff at 8 and the only creative thing I did was start a puzzle. At around 9 I went to Texas Rotisserie and Grill for dinner. It was nice but it's not my favorite restaurant. It was D's idea, he loves he place. After we went to Barnes and Noble for like, 2 seconds to wait to see a movie. The movie was Year One and it was great. I don't love Jack Blacks acting style but it worked for this movie. Michael Cera, of course was amazing! The humor was suggestive but rarely vulgar and the whole audience was bursting with laughter the whole time. See it!
I got an itunes gift card from my grandma and use almost all of it this morning (afternoon?). I bought some songs and episodes (was their a rule about tv on your ipod at camp?) that I love but haven't watched yet cause I'm reading.
I got my last issue of Elle before camp! I haven't finished yet but I love the shirt Gwen Stefani wears on the cover.
Yesterday I came back from the movie and my ma bought out a new dress from ebay! I will never be able to ebay like that. It's gorgeous black velvet with a bow tie in the back. It needs to be tailored but a few at home adjustments and I can ear it to my ma's boyfriend's parents house for fathers day dinner.

Bored

Despite the no school I find myself unhappy. I have nothing I can do today. I don't want to get in the way of the cleaning lady so I cant organize, Reading wold depress me this early in the morning. I guess I could watch movie but I don't want to. I can't bake because I don't have money. Maybe after I've finished reading posts I'll go window shopping. But now I'm not sure where. Not gap, strawberry or laila rowe. maybe I'll just read and then watch a movie. *Sigh* I dunno, for now I'll just go on the computer.

Sorry..

for the lack of posts. Yesterday I relaxed and than biked to dinner in the west village(like four miles baby!) and today I have 2 doctors appointments. This morning I woke up at 6:35 so I could shower and be ready on time. I left at eight to to arrive a a foot doctor at like, 10. At five I have to go to the doctors and get chicken my pox shot.:( I think I'm overdue but hey, I had no problem with that. Oh well.
I watched Newsies (one of the best musicals in the world), yesterday. I love that movie! I recently found out the main guy is a young Christan Bale and the dance routines were choreographed by Kenny Ortega! you must see it cause of all the awesome songs!
Can you believe this rain! It's been raining for like, 2 weeks! not to sound whiny but I Want My Sun. I would gladly welcome 85 degrees right now. Normally I like rain but not in June!

Mocking and more!

Went to my moms job so I wouldn't have to spend the whole day in the house. Wasn't super productive but it was relaxing. My mom is going to buy me a notebook so I'm not writing all over my hands which is good. after writing all over my hands I asked to borrow a notebook and on the way out she said she'll buy me a notebook. She's at the gym right now so I'll have to wait till 7:30ish to see what she got me. Trying to convince her to get me a carryall and have that be my only carry-on for camp. She says I should baby-sit more so I can buy it but that's hard work! Plus my side is majorly hard. I usually have "The monster (my like 5' tall suitcase) plus another suitcase and like 9 carry-ons. It's gonna take some serious skill on my part to fit all those 9 into one;). I'll look around for a cheap one to change her mind I guess. Since I'm on the topic of buying, I've decided to buy the sneakers that are mocking me. I first saw them last year and sooo wanted them. I saw them a few months ago and wanted them more so I went to get some new converse. The store I went to didn't have them so I got baby blue high tops but I wanted those shoes, not any old converse (I do love my babies though). A week after I bought my converse I found the shoes on another sight and really really really wanted them but it seemed impractical. now that I've decided to buy them I can't find them. Anywhere. Maybe they're not converse but if they aren't they sure do look like them. They're black mid calf or higher converse and they are mocking me constantly. Seriously, constantly. I watched What a Way to Go recently and was astonished by not only the wonderful storyline but the incredible costumes. Be they long or short the costumes were always entertaining. I loved watching her hair transform also. Curly with the first husband, straight and pinned with the second (my fav), all types of different with the third, short and sometimes pink with the fourth and curly again with the last. You've got to see this movie if only for the costumes. Louisa Foster you have the coolest style known to man!

You know I love Anne Hathaway and I love old fashion so it shouldn't come as a surprise I love Ella Enchanted. I always love watching her sing and cringe when she tries not to kill the prince. Ella Enchanted was one of her earlier movies and is just a pleasant movie to watch. The outfit above is lovely. The neckline often looks odd but with that silhouette it's perfect. The shimmery fabric is perfect for the fairy tale movie. I almost like it better after she's thrown in the dungeon and her hair is messed up though.
She spends most of the time in the outfit left. I've always wanted a cloak though I would only be able to wear it around the house and o Halloween. I'm not crazy about the belt but you can't deny it goes great with her outfit. The mostly blue outfit complements her perfectly.

Today

Ah, today I got dressed an brushed my teeth before 2! After waking up to a house empty of anyone except my brother and dog I took all my magazines to the living room to read. After realizing I had the dentist at five thirty I got dressed and brushed my teeth twice. Currently I am listening to my brother play guitar while writing this and figuring out the best way to convince my mom we should go out for dinner tonight or have someone here for dinner. don't have any money to go out and get a snack so I'll have to make do with whatever's in the house. I have a few nore characters lined up for your analysis and if there are any specific ones you'd like to see just leave a comment!

fashion in movies.

If you've ever seen Bye Bye Birdie you know about the terrific songs and dance numbers. The thing that stands out to me though is the fabulous style. Ann-Margret as Kim MacAfee in particular. The beautiful and prim dresses during the day and the wild cigarette pants for night. As an avid fan of the fifties style each time I see this movie I wish I had each of her dresses and the pink outfit makes me drool! My fave song of the movie is with Anne-Margret. How lovely to be a women completely captures what I love about the style of this movie. In it she trades her gorgeous skirt and top for a slouchy sweater and jeans. Her ability to look stunning in the first outfit and still awesome in the second is awesome. Check out the vid here!Your style rocks Kim MacAfee!

Various occurrences

I just finished the first spider man movie. I didn't remember anything so it was awesome watching it. Sooo recommend watching it. I'm a huge sucker for superhero movies. My fave is batman;). I think I'm gonna have ta skip baking again today, maybe tomorrow...or after that.
My grandma came over with gifts and took us out to brunch. I got 7 cds and a new camera to replace the other one. Those are the gifts prominent in my mind. I'm listening to all the cds and putting them in my ipod right now but soon I'm gonna have to stop so I can clean. It'll be hard though. I can't be the only one who thinks Jesse McCartney is hot and makes good music though, right? Last birthday my grandma gave me a camera and I loved it to death but couldn't hold onto it well. After she gave me a case the injuries decreased but when I went to winter camp the unthinkable happened. I let the only one there I trusted (besides the friend I went there with) hold it and when I came back it wouldn't turn on. My grandma took it to the shop and was told it had been dropped on it's lens. Instead of paying the hefty price to repair it she bought me a new one. I promise I will not drop it, lose it, or mistreat it. I will also keep it in it's case and register it online. On to using up the 500 spots for photos!!!!!!

Fashionable women in...

The lovely Sherin and Leia of hifashion have lately been doing interesting posts on fashionable women in politics. I will do something slightly more in my range. Fashionable women in movies! For the first I'll do Margot Tenenbaum. I love her edgy look. Her blunt haircut and black liner are a uniquely awesome look. I especially love her fur coat. It's very close to her coloring so it's texture stands out. Most of the clothes she wears are close to her coloring so her barrette and eyeliner really stand out. How many of us could rock a barrette in our hair and heavy black liner like she does! I love your style Margot Tenenbaum!

Shoulda been unbearably 90 degrees.

Don't get me wrong, I love rain, but all of this rain in June. It should be hot, I should be dying for a pool and ice cream to cool off. Not that the weather is stopping me from wearing what I want. I never let the weather influence me too much. That earns me many odd looks in Winter. I wear minis without tights in winter and rain. In sixty degrees you can see me in a light sweater and short shorts. Today I wore a leather jacket, maroon short shorts, my heels, and a light tank.
I went to the gap and bought 2 tanks to finish my rainbow of tanks. Probably a bit excessive but I'm happier knowing I have a light pink, hot pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple tank along with my neutral tanks.
I just got obsessed with a new song! That means I listen to it on repeat for a few hours and most likely buy it on itunes. The song is The Enemy by The White Tie Affair. I'm listening to it now and love love love it!
Was supposed to bake today but I have a new plan! Wednesday I'll make dinner and desert! For desert, Chocolate cheesecake! I'll have to find something for dinner.

Got a bit(/a lot) of random thing so I'm gonna go with bullet points!

• I should probably explain about camp so you don't think I've deserted you when I leave. I'm leaving June 28 for a seven week camp in Massachusetts. Although it's awesome (fourth year!) it doesn't have computer access for campers. So I won't be able to use a computer 'till august.

• While I'm at camp somebody will be painting my room! I saw a picture of a green room and immediately wanted a green room! I read the feng shui of green because that's important to me and found out that it's calming and associated with wood. It's also associated with growth and healing so I told my ma and went to find color samples at Benjamen Moore. Now I just have to choose between four colors.
  
• Going back to Tuesday I forgot to tell about the pot that fell on my head. I was emptying the dishwasher and putting a lid under the pots. The lid lifted the pot and it fell onto my head. It hurt and now there's a dent on the pot and a bump at my hairline.
• Last night I sat down in front of the TV and watched my two shows! They didn't disappoint!
• Remember yesterday when I saw Grease? Well I just got it from netflix. Oops.
  
• Just did my thank you notes with stationary from my Grandma while watching I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! That's my brother fave show and I gotta admit it's decent. Last night I got an awesome Sigg bottle from my cousin that I already love.
• While on the subject of bday gifts I am dying to make one of the recipes from the desert cookbook I got. Maybe the chocolate brownie roulades or the deep chocolate cheesecake or the chocolate butterfly cakes. Mm I can almost smell them. As you can probably tell the chocolate ones appeal to me the most.
  

end of school

Because school ended on my birthday it still hasn't really sunk in. I don't have tons to do this summer till camp. I do have to do my thank you notes, get a mani, and get my hair done. I also have to go camp shopping and later pack. Luckily I think I can manage not being very bored till next week. this week when I have nothing to do I'll think of what to do next week. Maybe ill make dinner and desert one day, maybe also lunch. plus there's tons of good movies, Easy Virtue, My Sisters Keeper, and The Brothers Bloom to name a few in theaters. I've also got netflix and a few tv shows I follow . Speaking of which tonight is burn notice and royal pains cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday was my bday! I got tons of awesome stuff from my friends and although the beach was a bit cold most of us went into the water. I'm so excited about doing some new recipes I got from the presents that were cookbooks! The cupcakes I made came out great! The night before some friends came over to help me with cupcakes and sandwiches. Well, I didn't actually make any of the sandwiches but still. At the beach everyone had tons of fun and we were like the only ones there most of the time so it's like I booked the whole beach. I still haven't got all of my presents yet so my bday is extended! 

Right now I'm watching Grease and its really good. I should watch

 it more often. I love Sandy's accent! 

2 half days left!!!

Today was field day which is basically sports all (half) day. All the points we won put my team in the lead. Well actually, it means we won the hole year! Ahhh sweet victory! In like, an hour I have my voice recital! Unfortunately my dress/skirt has to be like at the knee unless I can't sing so I'll have to look around my closet for something.
Every year each grade has a party on the turf to celebrat the end of the year. It's fun and one of the last ties we see each other till the next year. This year, they say it's going to pour so its canceled. How could anyone really believe it will rain before 9!?! It's like, sunny with white, not gray clouds out! God!

Today I baked two types of the cupcakes for MY BIRTHDAY. I also bought Marie Claire because lately I haven't been able to go long without reading a magazine. In the afternoon we went with friends to Orchard Beach to collect crabs and other sea stuff. I was pretty squeamish but D got two really big ones, one missing a claw. We named those two Alien (1 claw) and Predator because they were fighting. We tried to get them fight but Alien jumped out of the bowl and another one did too so we put them away. I like Predator best.
Last night I watched Happy Texas with my Ma and friends. It was sooo good! For those of you who don't know it it's about 2 prison escapees who are mistaken for a gay couple helping out with the local pageant. A totally hilarious movie, just wonderful. The first line was a joke!

Barbie and new shows

Last night I started watching the new season of Burn Notice and it is soooooo cool! By the first five minutes he was in jail! After that I found a new show to obsess over! Royal Pains is about a recently fired ER doctor who goes to the Hampton to party and ends up becoming the newest concierge doctor. I highly recommend both shows they're funny and awesome and I love them! I was introduced to an awesome song on Royal Pains I had to check out. It's called Shut Up and Let Me Go by The Ting Tings. I'm listening to it now! Check it out below!

Now I'm going to talk about the ultimate fashion doll who just celebrated her 50th. Yes, Barbie! I own a beat up Barbie book. It's the guide to everything barbie and has time lines and photos of all Barbie's friends and fam. I love how she has every color hair, has done everything and can wear anything. I got to thinking about her after I saw this photo and tutorial.
Maybe I'll try it out!

Tonight is the worst violation of the no school rules! They said not to socialize so we wont get sick, Big party tonight! Whole grade to a guy's BDay/Going away party. So excited! I had to wake up early to shower cuz there's no hot water till 5:30 and that wouldn't be enough time.

Big girls play dress-up!

After my long and self-indulgent bubble bath I decided to play dress-up with my new glasses(these except only half the frame colored and the frame is wire)! I put on my mini black scoop-neck dress, my black t-strap heels (these), the glasses, a faux fur coat a really smart ebay find (Thanks mom!), my pearls, my leather gloves and my new silver bracelet! Coulda put on my gray fedora, Damn.

Just gonna quickly point out how fabulously Amy Adams dresses! my favs are this, this, this, and this.

No school!

Sorry I couldn't post yesterday, I was too busy enjoying NO SCHOOL! There was more flu or swine flu or something but anyway school is closed this week. So we have 3 half days with no classes and then summer next week. Oh, and i found the perfect outfit for field day! You may ask what the hell that is. It is a day filled with sporting contests where we compete against half the school. Each team has a color from the school, I am on yellow (the other's blue) and have never been able to find a totally yellow outfit. Now I have yellow sofi shorts, a yellow tank and a slouchy yellow shirt to go over that. Although they said no socializing so we don't get sick (I already got sick) I went out with friends to day and have a grade party Friday. We went to see Up and it wasn't great but it was cute. My fav character was Doug("I was hiding under the porch because I love you")! Than we went to my friends house to watch Twilight while eating pizza and slushies. right now I'm listening to Maroon 5 and must catch up on some stuff. Bye!

Finally it's June!...

But my absolute fav thing about June(other than MYBIRTHDAY) is time I get to do whatever I want! This is helpful 'cuz there's a lot I need to do(Sow my stuffed animals, watch movies etc.) Which brings me to one of my favorite Summer movies! Grease! The whole cast is terrific and the dance numbers are sooo well-choreographed. Although it takes place during the school year there aren't any Winter scenes so it's perfect for when you
